Webinar: Engaging policy makers ahead of the Ministerial Conference and UN High-Level Meeting on TB

Treatment Action Group (TAG) and the Global Coalition of TB Activists (GCTA) will host a webinar on 25 October 2017 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM EEST on how civil society and community groups can initiate a dialogue with their national governments in advance of the Global Ministerial Conference on TB in Moscow to be held on 16-17 November 2017. Panelists will debut new, community-developed outreach tools and share strategies to maintain an open channel for communication and accountability in the lead up to the UN High-Level Meeting on TB in 2018 and beyond.

Call for applications: Regional capacity-building workshop for TB champions for Anglophone and Lusophone Africa

The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, the Stop TB Partnership in collaboration with the Global Coalition of TB Activists will host a workshop for people from Anglophone and Lusophone Africa who have had TB or been directly affected by the disease and have a keen interest in building their capacity to be effective TB advocates and champions.

Candle Light Vigil held at India Gate in memory of the lives lost to TB

On the eve of World TB Day, the Global Coalition of TB Activists (GCTA) and the Global Coalition Against TB (GCAT), supported by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, conducted a Candle Light Vigil to honour the memory of the nearly 500,000 people who lost their lives to TB over the past year in India.
