On the occasion of the third anniversary of the first-ever UN High-Level Meeting on TB, 26 September, the TB Europe Coalition issued a statement underling the value of civil society and TB affected communities role in the TB response and calling on governments to create a favorable environment for their meaningful engagement.

The TB Europe Coalition developed a booklet 'Multisectoral accountability framework to accelerate progress to end TB (MAF-TB). The political will at the national level is the key to fulfilling the global commitments' to support civil society and TB affected communities in understanding the global policy background, objectives, and milestones of the implementation of MAF-TB.

Following a series of three webinars on the topic of TB care for migrants in Europe, the TB Europe Coalition is conducting a short survey to identify the main challenges civil society faces in ensuring equitable access to TB and other healthcare services for migrants in the World Health Organization European Region.

On 1 April 2021, Treatment Action Group (TAG) and the TB Europe Coalition co-hosted a webinar, Demanding a higher standard of TB care in Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA). The webinar marked the launch of TAG’s TB Activist’s Guides recently translated to Russian and featured speakers who discussed policy gaps and advocacy strategies for activists to demand access to the highest standard of care for TB diagnosis, treatment, and prevention in EECA.
