2023 TB HLM Affected Communities and Civil Society Coordination Hub: World TB Day Advocacy Toolkit

The Coordination Hub launches the World TB Day Advocacy Toolkit to support the kick-start of advocacy at the national level in the lead up to the 2023 UN High-Level Meeting on TB.

The 2023 TB HLM Affected Communities and Civil Society Coordination Hub has been constituted to support and provide a platform for the affected communities and the civil society to engage with all processes of the upcoming 2023 UN High-Level Meeting on TB (TB HLM) to be held on 22 September in New York, USA. The Hub is hosted by the Global Fund Advocates Network (GFAN) and supported by the Stop TB Partnership.

The Coordination Hub launched the World TB Day Advocacy Toolkit to support the kick-start of advocacy at the national level in the lead up to the 2023 TB HLM. The Advocacy Toolkit google folder will be continuously updated with advocacy resources and materials, which will be available in English, Spanish, Russian, French, and Hindi.

The main action around World TB Day is to reach out to key targets, including the Heads of State, Members of Parliament and representatives at UN Missions to start to build relevant HLM relationships and put forward asks to them. Template letters have been developed for this purpose, as well as an invitation letter to the HLM and global scorecard on 2018 targets.

#YesWeCanEndTB if coordinated actions are taken now to make the upcoming UN High-Level Meeting on TB a success!
