Video: TB is Not a Crime
In March, The Kenyan High Court declared that the practice of confining TB patients in prisons for purposes of treatment is unlawful, unconstitutional and a violation of the fundamental human right to movement, dignity and security. The court ordered an immediate stop to this practice.
KELIN has embarked on raising awareness around the judgment and its implication for HIV and TB programming as well as participation in the development of the TB isolation policy.
