46th Union World Conference on Lung Health: Call for online abstract submission

The deadline for submission is Friday, 24 April 2015.

The Union announces the call for online submission of abstracts for presentation at the 46th Union World Conference on Lung Health, to be held in Cape Town, South Africa from 2 to 6 December 2015.

The Union seeks abstracts that provide evidence and demonstrate best practices to eliminate TB; address challenges in HIV and adult & child lung health; and contribute to global tobacco control.

Abstract Mentor Programme

The Union offers an Abstract Mentor Programme to facilitate the participation of individuals with less experience in developing and submitting abstracts for peer review, either scientific or programmatic in nature. Using this programme, authors can ask for feedback from experienced researchers and program implementers prior to submitting their work. For more information, please download the Mentor Programme.

Abstract submission and review

Please click here to log in to the online submission system. Once you have logged in, click on "Conferences" to access the submission system.

You are advised to read the attached technical and submission guidelines carefully before submitting your abstract. It may also be helpful to refer to the list of tracks for 2015 and the attached sample abstract.

The deadline for submission is Friday, 24 April 2015. All abstracts must be received by 18:00 Central European Time. Please note: Abstracts sent by e-mail will not be considered.

Through a process of peer review, abstracts will be allocated to either an oral presentation session or a poster session for the conference. Authors will be notified of the acceptance of their abstracts by 30 June 2015. All accepted abstracts will be included in the Abstract Book, which is a supplement to the International Journal of Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (IJTLD)The Abstract Book will be made available online for download on the conference website and in the e-print zone at the conference.
